Is IPL reason for INDIA's failure at T20 World cup

Dhoni have spoken about parties , IPL, Travels etc., as a reason for Failure for India in the recent T20 world cup. But, is that true ? We call it as Level loading, boys should have fun, but more important to know which is needed or basic expectation from the fan. Its just a game.
