Remembering my Gurus
UKG - LKG - Vaishanavi. My mother would tell me that Vaishanavi mam use to have strong believe in me.
I still remember my Head master (Its sad i don't remember his name). he used to tell moral stories during the prayer meetings.
Damodar, Abi, Falicita, Victoria, Rani were few of my high school teachers, whom encouraged me, specially to participate in extra - circular activities
During my college days, my priniciple Sivanandan, my professor Shaktivel had a huge impact on my leadership skills. I learnt working close with them.
Teachers don't stop at colleges. i had Ravi srinivasan, UKU, Puri, Alex, Gadiyar as my mentors during early career.
Most recently, I have wonderful mentor Joe. He is there for me as a good friend, guide and a true teachers.
Last, but not the least, my father and my mother. They are my Biggest Guru.
Thanks you God for brining these people into my life. What i m today, is because of those people i mentioned above.
interesting facts about global warming
already 70% of himalayan glacier, which is source for River ganga melted. After 20-30 years, there are chances that river would get dried.
Group of researcher planted a long scale in the antarctic to measure the rate at which glaciers melts. They found that 20-30 feet of glacier had melted in 3 years, normally this would have taken 20 years to melt.
Even my friends in chennai are telling that in Merina beach, the distance between the road and beach had considerably reduced. This gives indication for raising sea level.
Another study shows that in another 20-30 years, their is really threat for our coastal region.

Way to go Dr. Singh and Dr. Sibal
Addressing the nation on the Right to Education Act that come into force today, Dr. Singh said: “The Government is committed to ensuring that all children irrespective of gender and social category, have access to education and, fund constraints would not be allowed to hamper implementation of the Right to Education Act.”
“To realise the Right to Education, the Government at the Centre, in the States and Union Territories, and at the district and village level, must work together as part of a common national endeavour. I call upon all the State Governments to join in this national effort with full resolve and determination,” he added. He also said Dalits, the minorities and girls would be the focus of the effort to provide education to all. Looking back at his own life, Dr. Singh said he came from a family of modest means. He had to walk a long way to school and studied under a kerosene lamp.
“Today, What I am, I am because of education. So, I want that the light of education should reach to all,” he added.Great Job Dr. Singh and Dr. Sibal. This is great act and will help us if rightly implemented by the state government.

Smart Answers by Smart Indian
During Dr. Manmohan Singh’s visit to US, the then president Mr. Bush used the following words to introduce Singh to first lady, Mr.Singh is the prime minister for a country where there are 150 million muslims but no one is Taliban. The editor asked SRK about being second largest country based on Muslim population, how Indian muslims are different from them in Pakistan or Afganistan. SRK replied that Indians basically understanding and adjustable people. True !! Very True !!….
Do you know the top political issue?
01. Congress would not share the stage with some one who endorse Modi…
Big B endorses tourism for Gujarat, he does not endorse Modi
Lot of industrialist said that Modi is PM material, did congress avoid inviting them or sharing the dias with them
02. AB is father’s son so what is wrong is removing his video and posters from the Earth day celebration and web site in WWF…
- How can they act on the child when they have misunderstanding with his father. Its very childish act of congress. Then, we can drive relationship with Varun and Rahul…
03. Comparing BIG B with Industrialist is like comparing Apples and oranges…
- Because any attack on BIG B creates publicity for free, while no attack on Industrialist bring money
04. Congress is TALIBAN says Modi…
-Mr. CM, what do we say about 2002 riots where thousands of people died, is that not TALIBANIsm
-Mr. CM, what do we say when people shared sweets after each tomb of Babri Mosque brought down, are they Talibans
Can some MBA or public administration inititute take summer class or camps to educate these politicans and show them what their role towards development politics is all about.

Retreating Glaciers
Lot of ice bodies turned down resulting in increase in the sea level. Let us see what happens when sea level raise by 7 meters. Florida would be worst hit, most part of Brittan would have gone, and lot of costal areas of other continents would have gone underwater. If we see past history of 1000 years, the landscape was carved by nature. Our human intelligence towards overwriting nature and the quest of faster growth & comfort accelerated the natural disaster. When technology or innovation happens focusing only on betterment of human race, lose its focus on what damage it creates to the environment. We don’t realize that in parallel to our growth / human development, we create enough damage to earth. When we look back what we did, are we looking ahead of handing over safe place to the generations to come? Are they going to pay for the damages we have created? Let us think!

India and Racism
Answer to all the question is a BIG NO.........
I, myself felt the racial discrimination due to color or region i belong to. We see lot of political pressure and media focus on Ozs for Racial attacks in auz. But why are we slient towards what is happening within India. Political parties give tickets based on cast vote bank. There are lot of placed where a Black skin gets you nothing, even if you have credits. We have importance to skin color and pple do have assumptions to white skins and black skins. We have proof of fairness cream ads and their sales figure shows how crazy are we towards white skin. We need to replace cast or color or region based systems to credit based system. why are we lacking in it. There are lot of places in UP, Bihar, Orrisa, Tamilnadu where still discrimination against cast previels. We have systems in place, which don't work for the needy. We need a big Overhaul. Biggest Democracy won't work when half of its stakeholders / people don't participate.
When i think of myself, even after getting engineering degree, moving fast in career ladder and with a happy family, i have to struggle to come out of racisial attacks. I often dont listen to them or in other words ignore them, sometimes i treat them as a Jock. But that does not mean that there is no racism. Often pple tease me with my skin color or the state i belong to.
But it take lot of courage and self confidence to overcome these racist and prove to the world that credit matters and human values win over skin color. It is not a single persons journey, this need to be a mass movement to make everyone to see beyond the color, cast, region or religion.

its refreshing ...good
Watch Rahul's interaction with students in Mumbai in you tube Link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNAhAi0Gbbk
I can’t say its great or bad…but certainly and totally different approach. It is different from the normal politician’s speech. His speech is not attractive or strong. But it is very simple and straightforward.
Some of his thoughts,
He said, no harm in gong aboard for higher education. He said, if a person goes abroad for education and come back. He is brining knowledge, if he is not coming back, he will defiantly work there with Indian identity and make his country proud.
Though he invited youth to join politics, he said it would be great for countries progress if atleast every youth keep track of what is happening around politics.
He also said, to replace dirty water from a glass, either pour the dirty water out of the glass or pour good water to replace the dirty water. He sited this example to remove dirty politics out.
One think I liked asked is to be the change you want to see. (If you remember, Gandhi said the same)…
He is very clear in what he is saying or doing. He is having a clear vision and goal, which is great.
We have to wait and see how he is getting shaped…only time will test his vision….

Who are they to tell ?
Who are they to dictate what to speak, what not....
Can’t I be free to move in my motherland. Can’t I work in a place where I see opportunity…
Who gave them the power to force the common public.....
Do we have any power center who can question them and stop them before they thing they are the right once to safe guard people of Mumbai....
i can't understand this stupid political game that these parties are playing..unfortunatly, they are playing with the stupid common man...where are we heading towards..
We are warning OZ government to stop racism against Indians...but inside India....in Business capital People from North or south are not safe..they dont know when they will get attached....We are telling or worried when Obama says something about outsourcing….think about this, within India we have parties who are not allowing their fellow Indians to work in their state, a person from UP can’t allowed to work in Mumbai…a notable business man, entertainer, youth can’t speak out what they think..
Is our Prime minister looking into this mess, how can he ask OZ PM to take action, when he can’t stop such actions in Mumbai or when he can’t stop racist remarks against our brothers and sisters from Northeastern India.
How can he get more jobs from other countries when a common man has fears to move within his nation?
Yesterday Mr. Uddhav commended Film stars to act not to speak out, asked Cricketer only to play not to comment on polities. Why are we celebrating Republic day, when our basic right to speak is challenged by so called political stupid. They are very few in number, we can crush them.
We should fight for our Freedom, fight for free India.... Free from these type of polities. which circles around corruption, vote bank polities, so called LEADERS thinking about their grand children future, generation polities......
After all, the only affected party is we...Stupid people of great democracy.....

Is India's growing economy threat to US ?
Is Obama, trying to create a enemy or threat which never exist and try to get his bills passed or trying to cover-up his lack of execution to tackle domestic problems. There is 10-15% of unemployment in US. He had promised a lot on Employment, healthcare, but there is no significant work done on these areas.
I thought India and US are Strategic Partners in various areas. India is growing, it was not shaken by the economic crisis, we are learning to grow as stable economy, but US is far ahead of us in terms of "First place". The economy of India is the twelfth largest economy in the world by nominal value and the fourth largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). How can Obama mislead US people and leaders by creating India as threat for US Economy?
US Inc are outsourcing their jobs to make use of low operating cost in countries like India, which would yield revenue. Also, when we are in the world of globalization, when we are in the world of global customers, when US Companies are in peak of its competition to sell its product offering with low cost...how can we restrict companies to have jobs only in US. When we have customer in Asia to buys a product, making it in US and shipping it would cost more...how can economy of US will grow....
We need more of Collaborative growth between India and US. We have Knowledge power, low operating cost. US should make use of it. and OBAMA should focus on Organic growth and do some real stuff. I had expected more from Obama after hearing his campaign speeches. But after a year also, he is speaking more...which is great. but he is losing his credibility.
In fact, each nation is focusing of its own growth. You name it as India, China, or Germany. They are focusing on how to increase their GDP growth, creating employment opportunities, improving Health care, education infrastructure.
Instead of creating fear psychosis, Obama need to act quickly before millions of my friends in USA loss their trust with their president.
Let his action speak more then words...

Great India....
Born with Indus Valley Civilization in such sites as Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa, and Lothal, and the coming of the Aryans....It is in the Vedic period that Hinduism first arose: this is the time to which the Vedas are dated. ...
Fifth Century...Ashoka...spread of Buddhism..
Eigth Century, Islam first visit to India...
The European presence in India dates to the seventeenth century..
The Rebellion of 1857-58, which sought to restore Indian supremacy..
Successive campaigns had the effect of driving the British out of India in 1947. ...
With 1,150,000,000 (1.15 billion) people, India is currently the world's second largest country. India crossed the one billion mark in the year 2000, one year after the world's population crossed the six billion threshold. India is home for 17% of Worlds population...22 Official languages...over 1000 spoken languages....Sanskrit and Tamil are the classical languages of India according to the Government.....great example for UNITY in DIVERSITY....
Why we celebrate Republic day on 26Jan every year ?
Although India obtained its independence on August 15, 1947, it did not yet have a permanent constitution; instead, its laws were based on the modified colonial Government of India Act 1935, and the country was a Dominion, with George VI as head of state and Earl Mountbatten as Governor General. On August 29, 1947, the Drafting Committee was appointed to draft a permanent constitution, with Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar as chairman. The Constitution of India came into effect only on January 26, 1950, 10.18 AM IST. Following elections on January 21, 1950, Rajendra Prasad was elected as the president of India. The Indian National Congress and other parties had been celebrating January 26th as a symbol of Independence, even before India actually became independent. Thus, signing the constitution on January 26, to mark and respect January 26 and the freedom struggle and the freedom fighters.
Great Journey of 60 years......we have struggled a lot to be in a place where we are today....Consititution is what govern the country.....does it need a revision....do we need to amend it as per the changing environment...is the consititution only prinicples upon which our laws are made....Lot of questions arise when we see the new age politics....
Long way to go, we have just started ...We, are the greatest, largest, youngest republic of the world....We, are proud INDIANS
